We match a small number of extraordinary kittens with loving, well-prepared families each year. Please read the process carefully before applying.
We open applications once a litter is confirmed and the kittens are healthy and thriving. Kittens are marked as available and applications open from around 4 to 8 weeks of age. Because our litters are boutique and limited, applications may stay open for only a short window depending on how many we receive.
Many videos and candid photos of our current litters can be found on our social media, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube. Official portraits are added to this page as soon as each kitten is ready.
Please Read Before Applying
When a litter is old enough — usually around 4 to 8 weeks — we announce application openings through our email list, Instagram, and Facebook. The application becomes available on this page and usually stays open for only a short time, depending on the number of submissions.
Applications open publicly for each litter unless the entire litter has already been reserved by existing kitten families or held back for our own program.
We review applications for each litter individually. Families we love but cannot match right away may be invited to join our exclusive waiting list and are contacted first for a future litter.
Once applications close, we review each one and select homes for the kittens. This can take up to a week, occasionally longer. If selected, you will receive a message letting you know which kitten or kittens we would love to consider you for.
Before any deposit or reservation is accepted, we arrange a short 10 to 20 minute video call so you can meet the kittens. Please try to respond and schedule quickly, as we may move on to the next applicant if we do not hear back within 24 to 48 hours.
After the video call, if you would like to move forward, we send the contract for your chosen kitten. You will have 24 hours to review the contract and submit the deposit to reserve your kitten.
Important: Kittens may be marked as available and reserved from around 4 to 8 weeks, but they do not go home until 12 to 14 weeks (around 3 months). Occasionally a kitten is held back longer if it needs extra time after surgery or is being evaluated for our breeding program.
We no longer place kittens in homes where they will be the only pet. Each kitten must go home with a sibling or to a home that already has another friendly cat or dog. This prevents "Single Kitten Syndrome" and helps your Maine Coon thrive.
